Course delivery
The distance-learning modules allow students to study from anywhere, providing they have Internet access. This self-paced method of study offers you the freedom to study around clinic hours, reduces time away from family and community, and saves on the costs of travel and the associated CO2 emissions. The focus of the distance-learning modules is theory, with course materials developed specifically for the IBIH by physicians, scientists, trainers and expert BIH practitioners.
Each module is supported by a range of resources including literature lists, online seminars, webinars, DVDs and books.
Each module is designed to take approximately five to seven weeks to complete. At the end of each module a tutor assessment is administered interactively via the Internet, with successful completion required before students can move on to the next module.
The classroom plenary seminars require your attendance for five days at an IBIH site centrally-located in Europe. The seminar modules review the theory you studied via distance learning, integrate that theory with active discussion and debate, and provide practical application of hands-on skills by trained and experienced tutors and facilitators.

Unique learning outcomes of the Foundation Course Worldwide
On completion of the Diploma Course in BIH, students will have gained comprehensive knowledge about the complex mechanisms influencing health and disease, such as:
How cells require 'source energy' as well as traditional fuels such as sugars and fats, and how clients can be helped to optimise source energy.
How information modulates the genes (described by the science of epigenetics) and why field theory is needed to explain the body's control system beyond the DNA control system.
Why the body runs on a dual information system utilising the connective tissue matrix, and why the nervous system alone cannot adequately explain how movement in the body occurs with precise and instant coordination.
How the body produces, and how it can be encouraged to produce, its own healing messages.
How certain types of disease occur or spread via mechanisms that go beyond the traditional theories of viral or micro-organism transmission.
How the unique relations among feelings, emotional stress and shock may powerfully contribute to, or underlie, disease processes, and how emotions, perceptions and beliefs can be utilised to enhance results with equally powerful healing technologies.
How to choose the BIH system and biotechnology that best suits you and your clinical focus
