Course tutors
The Institute tutor group is led by IBIH Director of Education, Dr. Folker Meissner, from Germany and supported by a number of experienced, international trainers.
Dr Folker Meissner, Director of Education
Dr Folker Meisnner, of Germany, is trained at the expert level in traditional acupuncture and incorporates a number of other therapies into his practice, including laser acupuncture, emotional freedom technique, neurolinguistic programming, and other complementary medicine modalities.
He has served for decades in the German Federal Armed Forces Medical Service and has been an honourable member of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States since 1988. Dr. Meissner is also the founder and chairman of the German Academy for Energy Medicine and Bioenergetics (DAEMBE), and a lecturer and trainer for the following organisations: German Academy for Acupuncture and Auriculomedicine (DAAAM), German Academy for Energy Medicine and Bioenergetics (DAEMBE), College of Acupuncture and Natural Treatments (CAN; Germany), European Academy for Acupuncture (EAA), and European Academy for Traditional Chinese Medicine (EATCM). He also is the principle Nutri-Energetics Systems (NES) trainer in Germany.
Dr Rainer Viehweger, IBIH Senior Tutor
Dr Rainer Viehweger, of Germany, was trained as a medical doctor at Albert Szent-György University of Szeged in Hungary, where he graduated magna cum laude.
He has worked as an assistant orthopaedic surgeon at the Department of Orthopaedics of the Charité, Humboldt University of Berlin, as a specialist in children’s orthopaedics at the Department of Orthopaedics, University Clinique of Charité; and at the Orthopaedic Clinic (Praxis) in Hagenow, Southwestern area of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.
Since 2003, he has worked privately in his clinic in Viez (Hagenow) with a specialty in holistic medicine. His additional education includes acupuncture, chiropractic, Hunecke´s neural therapy, trigger shockwave therapy, psychosomatic energetics, Scenar therapy, and many other modalities. Dr Viehweger also has published numerous articles about both conventional and complementary medicine.
Dr Sandor Kulin, IBIH Senior Tutor
Dr Sandor Kulin is a Medical Doctor with speciality in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and with special interest in Fertility treatments, Oncology and Autism. Dr. Kulin is a pioneer in his own country where he has been among the first doctors to expand from his school-medicine approach by integrating new tools and understandings from the field of energetic and informational healthcare.
Dr. Kulins background includes two years as a medical advisor and medical director of the Hungarian branch of the Dutch pharmaceutical company Organon, 1996-2002 consultant to Hungary's largest infertility clinic. Since 2002 Dr. Kulin has been running a private practice where he integrates the use of several bioenergetic therapies and technologies for both investigation and treatment of clients. He is also an experienced tutor.
